Resident Evil 3 Closer Look: Over 40 New Screenshots, Concept Art, and More

Resident Evil 3 is hot on its way this April, with fans preparing themselves for another horror-fueled dive into the zombie-infested depths of Raccoon City on the eve of the outbreak. This time, instead of the walking perfect hairstyle Leon S. Kennedy, we’ll be following Jill Valentine, another one of Resident Evil‘s most iconic characters. However, she’s facing something a bit more brutish than Mr. X in the form of the menacing tyrant, Nemesis. To get a better idea of what this anticipated remake is all about, a pile of Resident Evil 3 (and Resistance) screenshots have surfaced online, revealing more areas, concept art, and some new enemies.

Character Concepts

Thanks to Gamer Gen, we have over 40 screenshots to go through, starting with some character concept art that shows the designs for Jill, Nemesis, Carlos, and a few side characters.

New Enemies

Next, get a hold of some of the new enemies that will be gracing Resident Evil 3 and filling our nightmares with very vivid monstrosities.

We also got a glimpse of some of the environments that we’ll stumble across in Resident Evil 3 and Resistance.

Nemesis is bound to give Jill one hell of a time, and here’s a few more encounters with him (it also seems like Nemesis doesn’t understand the concept of death all too well).

Raccoon City

While exploring Raccoon City as Jill “Sandwich” Valentine, you might stumble across a few interesting (and by interesting, we mean don’t go there) locations in the city. Here are just a few examples.

Finally, we have Resident Evil: Resistance, the multiplayer companion to Resident Evil 3 that will come with the game at launch. Taking a break from Jill and company, teams of players will have to survive an onslaught of enemies from an “overseer” who controls each environment and its inhabitants. There’s a lot of potential here for a fun multiplayer mode, but here are a few screenshots to ease you into it.

Resident Evil 3 launches on April 3, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
